AnswerLine is run by Gabriel T out of Melbourne. It's early days. We build voice assistants that answer the phone for Australian professional services firms, and we're honest about what they can and can't do.
What this actually is
A voice assistant. Not a replacement for your team.
When a call comes in and nobody picks up, an AI voice answers, takes the basics, and either books a time or passes the details to whoever needs them. That's it. No magic.
It works well for repetitive calls: opening hours, simple intake, booking a callback, qualifying a lead. It is not the right tool for nuanced advice, sensitive conversations, or anything that genuinely needs a person. We'll tell you upfront if your use case isn't a good fit.
The voice is Australian. Calls and data stay on Australian infrastructure. You can listen back to every conversation.

I worked in finance before this. Spent enough time on phones and around small professional services firms to notice the same thing everywhere: a real chunk of calls go unanswered, and the ones that do get picked up are mostly repetitive.
Voice AI got good enough recently that this is finally a problem worth solving properly. So I'm building AnswerLine. It's a small operation right now, which means you'll mostly be talking to me, and I'd rather say "I don't know yet" than oversell something.

Who we work with
Mostly small and mid-sized practices.
The firms getting the most out of this are ones where one or two people are juggling the phone alongside actual client work. If that's you, an assistant catching the overflow tends to pay for itself quickly. If you already have a full reception team, the case is weaker and we'll say so.
We're picky about who we take on early. Better to do a handful of deployments well than spread thin.
